The following ran through my head last night, and I quickly jotted it down in a post in fear of losing it. I was happy to find out it actually resonated with some of my followers, so I thought I’d submit it as it is somewhat relevant to your blog. Thanks for the time.
Coming out is an act of faith. It’s bravery, yes, but more than that it’s faith. When you come out, you profess to the world that you have faith in love, that you have faith in finding love, and knowing it, and bleeding more pain for it, and committing to it.
Because being gay is about who we fall in love with, admitting you’re gay is a testament to your faith in, above all things, the fairness of this world; that you will find love, and that it was all worth it.
Every time I visit your tumblr I get a huge smile on my face and sometimes a tear or two, seeing all of the peace, love, and contentment on these couple's faces. It is my sincere hope that everyone finds that special person that makes their life whole. What an awesome place this is! Not much of a question is it?
